    Health Benefits

This hydrating alkaline smoothie is not only delicious, but it's also packed with a variety of health benefits.

    • Spinach and kale: These leafy greens are rich in vitamins A, C, and K, as well as minerals like calcium and iron. They're also high in antioxidants, which help fight inflammation and protect against chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer too! (Hint: Grow some in your garden this year!)
    • Alkaline water: Alkaline water has a higher pH than regular water, which can help neutralize acid in the body and promote a more alkaline environment. This can help improve digestion, boost energy levels, and support overall health and well-being.
    • Lime: Limes are rich in vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that helps boost immune function, promote collagen production, and protect against oxidative stress. (You could sub lime for lemon here)
    • Cucumber: Cucumbers are rich in water and electrolytes, making them a great hydrating food. They also contain antioxidants like flavonoids and lignans, which help protect against cancer and heart disease.
    • Frozen peach: Peaches are a good source of fiber, vitamins A and C, and potassium, which helps regulate blood pressure and support heart health.
    • Protein powder: If you choose to add protein powder to your smoothie, it can help support muscle growth and repair, as well as aid in satiety and weight management.

    Why Use Alkaline Water

If you're looking for a simple and effective way to boost your health and well-being and stay a little more hydrated, you might want to try incorporating alkaline water into your daily routine! And let me tell you, this stuff is seriously amazing!

You can usually buy it at the grocery store too, so it's not a hard to find thing.

One of the main benefits of drinking alkaline water is that it can help neutralize the acid in your body and promote a more alkaline environment. When your body is too acidic, it can lead to inflammation, digestive issues, and even chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer. But by drinking alkaline water, you can help balance your body's pH levels and support overall health and wellness.

Alkaline water is also a great source of minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which are essential for strong bones, healthy muscles, and optimal hydration. Plus, it's super hydrating and refreshing, making it the perfect beverage to sip on throughout the day. Yay for easy mineral intake!

So if you're ready to take your health and wellness to the next level, give alkaline water a try! You can find it at most grocery stores and health food stores, or you can invest in a water ionizer to make your own alkaline water at home. Trust me, once you start drinking alkaline water, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!
