Berry Pineapple Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup kale
  • ½ beet, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ orange, peeled
  • 1 cup mixed berries, frozen
  • ½ cup pineapple, frozen
  • 1 teaspoon ginger root, grated or chopped
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Wash and chop the kale.
  • Peel and chop the beet into small pieces.
  • Peel the orange and remove any seeds.
  • Add the chopped kale, beet, orange, frozen mixed berries, frozen pineapple, grated or chopped ginger, and coconut oil to a blender.
  • Add ½ cup of water to the blender and blend the ingredients until smooth.
  • Add water if the smoothie is too thick
